Shift and schedule: 8.30am to 5.00pm - Monday to Friday (37.5 hrs p/w)
Pay: £Competitive + Car + Quarterly Performance Bonus
Location:
Field Based - Bristol / South West Region

An enthusiastic Business Development Executive to play a key part in our continued company growth. Someone who is hungry to succeed within a well-established company. If you have excellent communication skills, experience within a previous Field Sales based role, an ability to build strong relationships and good IT skills, then this could be the role for you.
About the Role:
As a B2B Business Development Executive at MDSS, you will be part of a wider, strategic Sales Team, to generate opportunities relating to Records Management services (Document Scanning, Document Storage, Document Shredding & IT Destruction). The target market is vast, so the potential to hit incentive-based performance targets within this role is very strong.
You will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the South West region, generating appointments, cold calling in person and via telephone. You will be required to attend networking events and business exhibitions to promote the relevant services, and follow up on all leads and update a CRM System. This role is key to the growth of our business.

Key Responsibilities:
· Prospecting and Lead Generation: Utilise your skills in market research and networking to identify potential clients and generate leads within the B2B community.
· Telesales: Generating leads and appointments for new business meetings. Liaise with the Telesales Executive and forge a strong working relationship.
· Consultative Sales: Engage with prospective clients to understand their business objectives, pain points, and specific Records Management requirements. Provide advice to potential clients and negotiate the right solution to meet their needs.
· Negotiating and closing business contracts with existing and new clients.
· Delivering a professional sales pitch to prospective clients in the field: face to face, via telephone and electronically.
· Collate relevant and accurate business proposals using the suite of materials available from MDSS.
· Develop close working relationships with the Service Team and provide relevant handovers for onboarding clients.
· Conduct client satisfaction activities to ensure retention targets are achieved and upsell services as required.
· Participate in business exhibitions & networking events to generate new business leads. Follow up on all relevant leads and close opportunities.
· Ability to plan and maintain a sales pipeline.
· Achieve Monthly Targets and KPIs.
· Maintaining a fully up to date CRM System daily.

Experience:
· Field Sales: Minimum 5 years (required)
· Account Management: Minimum 5 years (required)
· Microsoft Office Products (Particularly Outlook, Word and Excel): 3 Years (required)
· CRM Systems: 3 Years (required)
Licence/Certification:
· UK Driving Licence (essential)
Work Locations:
· Field based – Bristol, Gloucester & South West England
· Office – Wentloog, Cardiff
